A mission of Midtown Vineyard Church

Our mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. We do this through recruiting volunteer adult leaders from Coastal Carolina and the local community that love Jesus and want kids to know his love for them too. These adults go where kids are, showing up in their everyday life, building relationships with them, and running programs for them throughout the week. Young Life “club” is considered a party with a purpose that any kid from any background could walk into and feel like they belong. “Campaigners” exists as a bible study for kids who want to go deeper and we give them a vision for what it would be like to be on mission in their school. We also get to take kids to camp for a weekend in the winter, and a week in the summer, allowing us to take them out of everyday life and have space to process the gospel. We believe that kids do not care what you have to say until they know you care. Therefore, we care for kids above all else, and continue caring for them no matter how they may respond to the gospel.
